On August 18th, 2012 The Historic Erie Canal Towpath will again play host to a multitude of runners.  There will not be feet of snow or freezing temperatures like our winter race (or will there?).  In fact you would be hard pressed to find a flatter, friendlier course in which to run an ultra.  This Summer's Beast of Burden is has a new twist. This year it's being called, "The Battle of the Aid Stations." Who will dazzle you with the most outgoing, most original and most fun aid station? There's only one way to find out, REGISTER! Of course there is one little obstacle for you to overcome - you must beat the bridge!
